Poster Abstracts
PURPOSE:
The purpose of the poster session is: 1) to share information about colorectal cancer prevention and control efforts in your state with your regional neighbors, and 2) to build a strong professional network among southeastern professionals who share an interest in colorectal cancer prevention and control.
The poster session is limited to a total of 25 posters. We urge each state to submit an abstract for a poster describing their colorectal cancer project in one of the six focus areas:
Innovation & Technology (this category includes but isn't limited to: Marketing, Use of AI, Social Media)
Health Policy & Advocacy
Health Equity
Screening: Community-Based and Clinic-Based
Early Onset Colorectal Cancer
Health Education; Behavior Modification
FORMAT:
Abstracts should include:
An introductory sentence including the purpose and/or objective of the work.
A brief description of methodology, if the abstract describes research.
A summary of the information to be presented in the poster, including major results and conclusions.
The abstract should not exceed 250 words (not including the title and key words).
Submission Deadline is Friday April 25, 2025 at 12:00p. Submitters will be notified by the week of May 5, 2025.
Posters will be on display during the 2025 SECRCC conference. The Consortium will offer one award: Best Overall Poster Award which will be announced on Friday June 13th during the conference.
